The contract originated with Total North replying to an IT job posting at TKC. The skill sets offered was to form a hybrid relationship with TKC where Total North provides proactive network support along with IT consultancy and TKC hires internally to focus on server and desktop support. Total North would also offer business continuity by providing full IT support as required during times when the full time permanent employee was unavailable or required additional support.
From 2013 to 2015, Total North provided support on an aging phone system which was put out for RFP in 2015. Total North was fortunate to have been awarded the contract which included the deployment of a phone system and cleanup of the structured cabling in the LAN room. Since then the partnership with TKC has grown to a fully supported phone system.
I don’t consider the relationship that our government bodies’ to be a work relationship rather than a partnership. Total North’s commitment to customer satisfaction has been second to none. Their record keeping, that has been with our company more than me, has saved countless hours of trouble shooting and the team is extremely knowledgeable and capable of any task from the simple to the extremely tedious. Each member at Total North has a unique set of abilities which are key to this business. The staff has been nothing but patient understanding and professional and when I have a question they are as eager as me to figure it out.
We have recently had the pleasure of Total North installing a new digital phone system and I was amazed at how clean and organized they left the server room. Now, I have a touch of OCD and to this day I can go into the sever room and gaze at how organized and uncluttered all the cabling looks. An amazing job. Key factors during this install were to not disrupt the staff and to get everyone trained and comfortable with the new equipment which Total North achieved perfectly. Josh and his team had meticulously drawn up a plan of attach and had pulled it off to perfection and wasn’t happy until we were. This made us feel very comfortable and confident with their abilities.
